We opened (wide) in 1984. From a single surgery run on a part-time basis the practice just grew and grew. We are today one of the largest dental practices in the East Riding caring for the dental needs of around eighteen thousand people. We employ a large team of dental care professionals; eight dentists, two therapists, four dental hygienists and a full time practice manager all of whom rely on the tireless support of a small and dedicated army of nurses and receptionists.
All the team adhere strictly to the code of practice described in the General Dental Council's publication "Standards for Dental Professionals".
Can be summarised in just three words. Prevention, prevention and prevention. We believe that both tooth decay and gum disease, the major causes of tooth loss, are essentially preventable. This can only be achieved through regular check-ups, good communication and a friendly, caring, team based approach. We aim to treat each person as an individual, respectfully and non-judgementally.
